PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-resolution single plate type color camera which images optically continuous high-resolution images by dividing them into a plurality of images via a color filter of a plurality of colors and in which continuity of a boundary part to be generated at the time of separation is maintained.;SOLUTION: Screen separation is performed to a signal obtained from an imaging device via a color filer of G color at a dashed line part as shown in (A), g of a shaded part of (B) can not be exactly interpolated since no adjacent information exists. Thus, processing is performed by adding adjacent signals by every end surface of each screen separation as shown in (C) and when the added part of the adjacent signal is deleted after obtaining g of the shaded part of (B), the interpolated g having the continuity as shown in (D) is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
