PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely inspect an operation condition for a gas monitoring system without requiring an exclusive talking means.;SOLUTION: In this operation condition inspecting method for the gas monitoring system having a central surveillance monitor and surveillance monitor terminals connected to be data-communicatable via a data transmission means, and a gas sensor, a content of the operation condition in the each monitor terminal is transmitted to a responsible person in the inspection by mutual talking using the data transmission means, in an operation test wherein a sample gas is supplied to the gas sensor, and wherein the operation condition in the each monitor terminal operated by an alarm signal is confirmed by an observer.
