PURPOSE: To provide a rigid sleeve for an endoscope which makes a soft endoscope usable in the same manner as for a rigid endoscope in broad applications including applications for the rigid endoscope and has high versatility to permit dealing with any lengths of the insertion part of the soft endoscope. ;CONSTITUTION: This rigid sleeve for the endoscope includes an inside pipe 9 which is freely advanceably and retreatably fitted into the insertion part 2 of the endoscope and a mounting means which is disposed in this inside pipe 9 and freely attachably and detachably fixes the inside pipe 9 in the arbitrary position in its axial direction. The rigid sleeve device for the endoscope is usable by fixing the sleeve to the arbitrary position in the inserting part 2 of the endoscope.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
