PSOLUTION: Propolis or its extract is used as a component of an NO synthetase inhibitor, an agent for the treatment of sepsis, endotoxin shock, cardiac failure, shock, hypotension, rheumatic inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis deformans, ulcerous colitis, stress-related gastric ulcer, clone diseases, autoimmune diseases and tissue damages or rejection reactions after organ transplantation, and oral administration compositions, food products and pharmaceuticals containing the agent are also disclosed.
