PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage nonlinear resistor porcelain composition of low dielectric instant which is excellent in high frequency characteristic. ;SOLUTION: In composition of [ZnO(1-x-y-z).CoOx.(Pr2O3.67)y.(Al2O3)z] whose main component is zinc oxide, 0.1≤x≤15.0 mol.% by conversion into cobalt oxide (CoO), 0.01≤y≤0.5 mol.% by conversion into praseodymium oxide (Pr2O3.67) and 0.0001≤z≤0.002 mol.% by conversion into aluminum oxide Al2O3 are totally made to 100 mol.%. For admixture, at least one kind out of potassium of 0.01-0.04 mol.% by conversion into potassium carbide (K2CO3) and lithium of 0.0001-0.0003 mol.% by conversion into lithium carbide (Li2CO3) is contained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
