PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage non-linear resistance element, having small fluctuations in capacitance characteristic at the occasion of temperature fluctuation.;SOLUTION: As for the voltage non-linear resistance element layer 2, a sintered body having ZnO as the main component is used. For this sintered body, Pr, Co, Ca, either Cu or Ni is added. The ranges for this are; 0.05 to 5.0 at.% for Pr, 0.1 to 20 at.% for Co, 0.01 to 5.0 at.% for Ca, and 0.0005 to 0.05 at.% for either Cu or Ni. For these ranges, the change of rate of the capacitance can be made to equal or smaller than 10% at 85°C, when 25°C is taken as the reference.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
