PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely prevent suffering a scratch by unintended contact with an inspection element or decline of reliability of an inspection result by effective utilization of compressed air, when a linear object to be tested of a nuclear fuel element is inserted into an inspection insertion hole formed close to the inspection element and a flow on the surface thereof or the like is inspected. SOLUTION: The compressed air CA supplied from an inlet 1b of the compressed air is jetted from the whole inner circumferential surface 2a of an penetrating axial hole 2 through many split fine holes 1d from a supply passage 1c into a guide cylinder 1 having the penetrating axial hole 2 formed therein through which the linear object T to be tested is conveyed and passed in the arrow M direction by a not-illustrated driving conveyance mechanism. In this conveyance route regulation sending-out mechanism, equalized-pressure air layer AL by the compressed air CA is formed in circumferential gap g formed between the whole inner circumferential surface 2a and the outer circumferential surface t of the linear object T to be tested by the jetted compressed air CA, to thereby keep the floating state of the linear object T to be tested without mechanical slide with the penetrating axial hole 2 and to enable to convey the object in the arrow M direction.
