PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a detailed rating analysis such that which user stratum views which contents to which degree among user strata such as young generation, middle-aged people, males or females.;SOLUTION: A plurality of contents are laid out on a two-dimensional plane on the basis of the similarity of the contents to generate a contents scatter diagram image, attribute information of users is stored in a database 8 in cross- reference with ID of the contents as contents view history information, when an analyst enters a designated analysis condition, the analyzing apparatus searches view history information adapted to the analysis condition among view history information items in the database, calculates the number of access times of users to each of the contents on the basis of the searched view history information, and superimposes the calculated number of access times on the contents scatter diagram image to generate a visual image representing the contents rating tendency, which a display section 12 displays.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
