PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and stably suck cloth.;SOLUTION: This cloth feeding device holds cloth by various changes of suction force and performs a work for delivering cloth to a process. A portion from a suction nozzle 21 to a suction source 22 side is made to have a rigid structure which is not deformed by a pressure change so that suction force may be directly applied from the suction source 22 side to the suction nozzle 21 side. The suction nozzle 21 and the suction source 22 side are directly communicated with each other. An air flow outlet 24 of the suction nozzle 21 and an air flow inlet 26 on the suction source 22 side are overlapped, and the overlapping area is changed in size by moving of the suction nozzle 21 side to control suction force.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
