PURPOSE:To obtain the subject microsome having excellent safety and high oxygen transfer efficiency as an artificial blood for transfusion by including hemoglobin together with a specific electrolyte and an organic phosphoric acid derivative in the inner aqueous phase of the microsome. CONSTITUTION:The objective microsome having a Hill coefficient of =2.0, a proper oxygen affinity (P50: 20-50mmHg) and an oxygen saturation degree of hemoglobin of =90% under an oxygen partial pressure of 100mmHg is produced by including a hemoglobin solution adjusted to pH7.0-7.5 (preferably having a concentration of 25-30g/dl) together with an electrolyte having chlorine ion as anion (preferably having a Cl- concentration of 80-100mM) and an organic phosphorus acid derivative (preferably pyridoxal 5-phosphoric acid of an amount corresponding to 1.5-4.0 times equivalent of hemoglobin) in the inner aqueous phase of a microsome formed by a bimolecular lipid membrane.
