Production strain of Aspergillus Niger microorganism for submersion fermentation of citric acid

The present invention relates to a novel high-production strain of Aspergillus Niger microorganism "S" for submersion fermentation of citric acid from pure sugar substrates, deposited in the Czech microorganism collection under number CCM 8300. The new mutant has been prepared by a conventional mutagenesis by the action of UV light on an industrial strain CCM 8241 and differs therefrom by better technological parameters with provision of optimization of a fermentation medium composition.
