METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF DISEASES OF SUBMANDIBULAR GLANDS

The method for the surgical treatment of the diseases of submandibular glands comprises the dissection of the major submandibular duct starting from the ostium following the position of the calculus and up to its first downward turn. The wall of the duct is sewed bilaterally with the mucosa of the bottom of oral cavity employing the interrupted sutures. The new ostium is generated in the broadened area of the duct downstream the calculus by sewing the mucosa of the duct and the bottom of the oral cavity at the site where the dissection of the duct terminates.
