The invention relates to a flip open box package, such as a cigarette pack, with enhanced aroma due to encapsulated flavor materials incorporated on the interior surface of the flip top. The encapsulated flavor is released upon opening of the box of frictional interaction of the lid with frame components or with the product or wrapping thereof.
