The spreading machine has a fixed part for keeping the fiberglass mesh (3) stretched, and a mobile part (13) for pulling and extending the fiberglass mesh on a stone table, and releases the fiberglass mesh once cut and returns to its original position. A telescoping anchor (9) engages the stone table for reinforcement. Once the anchor is engaged to the table, the tension plates (6) are driven by the movement of a conveyor (16) and the mesh is dragged and transferred to the end of the table.
