System for the continuous transfer of bakery products, e.g. bread and rolls, between a pre-baking oven and a finishing bake oven, comprises an auxiliary transfer device, e.g. a driven drag belt, above the existing transfer conveyor belt. In particular the drag belt is arranged above the point of the transfer from the plate conveyor of the pre-baking oven to the conveyor belt of the finishing bake oven.
