Disclosed is a crystalline microporous oxide catalyst and fluid catalyticcracking process. The catalyst contains a compound for promoting dehydrogenation andincreasing Lewis acidity is effectively added. This catalyst can be included in aninorganic oxide matrix and used as a cracking catalyst. Preferably, the compound forpromoting dehydrogenation and increasing Lewis acidity is effectively added to a non-framework portion of the crystalline microporous oxide. More preferably, the compoundfor promoting dehydrogenation and increasing Lewis acidity is a volatile multivalentmetal compound.
