Wnhs as modifiers of p53, p21, and branching morphogenesis pathways and methods of use

Human WHN genes are identified as modulators of the p21, p53, or branching morphogenesis pathway, and thus are therapeutic targets for disorders associated with defective p21, p53, or branching morphogenesis function. Methods for identifying modulators of p21, p53, or branching morphogenesis, comprising screening for agents that modulate the activity of WHN are provided.
