The invention provides a freeze-drying and cryopreservation method of callus cell, especially the callus cell of ginseng, and also the cryoprotectants, in which the cryoprotectants include trehalose and vector. The invention also relates to the preserved callus cell of ginseng. Using the method of the invention, the preservation effect of the callus cell of ginseng is visible.
