PURPOSE: A finite element analysis method of a rotary forming process is provided to predict a forming shape of a material and the weight of the material by performing a simulation using a computer program on the basis of a three-dimensional rigid-plastic finite element method. CONSTITUTION: A special mesh system for producing a velocity field and an actual mesh system for maintaining a volume of a material are applied(S102). The velocity field of the special mesh system is produced(S106). The velocity field of the actual mesh system is produced by interpolating the velocity field of the special mesh system(S110). Nodes of the actual mesh system are shifted during a small time increment to a time increment(S112). The actual mesh system is updated by the central shift of the material and an increase of a radius of the material(S114). The special mesh system is controlled by the updated actual mesh system(S116). The actual mesh system is updated as much as the time increment if a sum value of the small time increments is equal to or more than the time increment(S120).
