PURPOSE: A device for collecting young fishes using a light source is provided to efficiently investigate distributional features and species of the fishes by depth of water. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises horizontal light inducing plate(3) only for radiating the light in horizontal direction; a clamper for arranging and fixing the plate; a light control device(8) for adjusting light intensity, twinkling period, wavelength of high brightness LED, light intensity of cathode-ray tube, etc.; a device(6) for measuring temperature and salt level as major environmental factors for the young fishes; and a collection container(5) for the young fishes.
