APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING DUST LEAK THROUGH GAP BETWEEN HOUSING AND STEAM TUBE IN COKE DRIER

PURPOSE: A dust discharge preventing device is provided which prevents dust from discharging through gap between the end parts of the steam tubes and tube holes of the housing using a closing body having pockets into which end parts of steam tube exposed to the outer side of housing of raw material coal dryer are inserted. CONSTITUTION: In a device for preventing dust from discharging through gap between tube holes of the housing and the steam tubes in a raw material coal dryer comprising a dry space, steam tubes, steam header, steam discharge pipe and housing, the device comprises a bag shaped expandable closing body(12) on which pockets(13) corresponding to the row of steam tubes are formed so that an end part of a row of steam tubes exposed to an outer part of the housing is inserted into the pockets, and which is arranged at an outer side of the housing; and a rectangular box shaped receiving part on which first and second opening parts(20,21) are formed so that the row of steam tubes are inserted into the first and second opening parts, and which is arranged at an outer side of the housing to receive the closing body, wherein the pockets are closely adhered to the outer circumference of the row of steam tubes during expansion of the closing body, and wherein the closing body comprises a steam inlet(14) formed at one side of the closing body to receive high temperature steam from the steam header, and the receiving part comprises a hole formed at a position corresponding to the inlet.
