PURPOSE: A gas turbine system-monitoring method and gas turbine engine-monitoring system are provided to decide wear and maintenance plans and to reduce poisonous release by detecting and monitoring UV-photosensitive material release from a coating and obtaining exact information and specific position information. CONSTITUTION: A gas turbine system-monitoring method comprises steps of selecting a binder(14) to monitor temperature by releasing an indicator(12) within a temperature range decided to make a substrate(16) of a gas turbine system take high-temperature operation till the temperature under the critical turbine substrate degradation temperature; combining the indicator and the binder; and coating the substrate with the combined indicator and binder to form monitoring deposits.
