PURPOSE: A super twist nematic liquid crystal display diving circuit is provided to decrease the number of external capacitors and minimize power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A super twist nematic liquid crystal display driving circuit(300) includes a reference voltage generator(310), a voltage booster(320), a voltage controller(330), and the first and second common voltage generators(350,370). The reference voltage generator generates a reference voltage(VREF) in response to an external voltage(VCI). The voltage controller generates the first and second segment voltages(VM,V1) for driving a segment electrode of a super twist nematic liquid crystal display panel in response to the reference voltage and a boosted voltage(VCSL). The first common voltage generator generates the first common voltage(+VR) that is controller to be higher than the first segment voltage and drives a common electrode of the liquid crystal display panel. The second common voltage generator generates the second common voltage(-VR) that is controlled to be lower than the first segment voltage and drives the common electrode of the liquid crystal display panel.
