METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OFFERING LOCATION-BASED SERVICES ON MULTI-SERVICE AREA ENVIRONMENT BY ADDING CALLER INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A method and a system for offering location-based services on a multi-service area environment are provided to offer the location-based services by adding a location indicator recognizing a location of the WCD(Wireless Communication Device) in a service area to a resource request transmitted from the WCD and transmitting the resource request to a contents server. CONSTITUTION: A location manager database(210) stores the location indicator of the WCD. The location indicator of each WCD is based on one service area among the multiple service areas related to an access point. The access point supports wireless communication with the WCD through one service area. A location adding unit(302) receives the resource request transmitted from the WCD and adds the location indicator matched with each resource request to the requesting WCD.
