METHOD FOR PREDICTING SHAPE OF WIRE-LIKE STRUCTURE, DEVICE AND PROGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM THEREOF USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for predicting a shape of a wire-like structure, a device and a program recording medium thereof are provided to enable a user to predict the desired shape reliably in a short time without learning specified technologies or skills. CONSTITUTION: A wire-like structure of an unspecified shape is described by manual operations(S1). Shape characteristics are extracted from the described wire-like structure(S2).Boundary conditions are extracted from the described wire-like structure(S4). Material characteristics of the wire-like structure are calculated based on the described wire-like structure(S3). A predicted shape in a physically stabilized state is calculated by applying the FEM(Finite Element Method) to the boundary conditions, the shape features, and the material features(S5).
