PURPOSE: Provided is an anticancer agent containing polysaccharide that is galactomannoglucan and mitomycin C extracted from Phellinus linteus. It is useful for treatment of stomach cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, large intestine cancer and the like. CONSTITUTION: An anticancer agent is characterized by containing galactomannoglucan and mitomycin C extracted from Phellinus linteus in a weight ratio of 2-10:1. It is useful for treatment of stomach cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, large intestine cancer, lung cancer and the like with less adverse side effect.
