Terminal for collecting taxi fare and providing additional services

PURPOSE: A terminal for collecting a taxi fare providing a value added service is provided to safely and conveniently settle the taxi fare in a taxi installing a protecting wall between a taxi driver and a passenger, offer call information to a taxi driver, and offer various value added services to the passenger. CONSTITUTION: A controller(10) is equipped with I/O(Input/Output) ports for connecting to a taxi meter, a driver operation panel(20), and a passenger information display(30), and a wireless communication part communicating with a service providing server through wireless network. The controller downloads/manages the B/L(Black List) or the P/L(Positive List) information from the service providing server, makes the fare information received from the taxi meter, processes settlement by comparing the card information transmitted from the passenger information display with the B/L or P/L information, and transfers the value added service received from the service providing server to the driver operation panel and/or the passenger information display. The passenger information display is equipped with a passenger card reader, a passenger keypad, and a passenger display.
