PURPOSE: An electric component for controlling easily a characteristic is provided to control easily a characteristic of an oscillator module by forming a contact side on a dummy part of a substrate. CONSTITUTION: An electric component for controlling easily a characteristic includes a dielectric multilayer substrate, a circuit element, a strip electrode, and a plurality of measuring electrodes. The dielectric multilayer substrate(100) includes a product formation part and a dummy part. The circuit element is arranged on the inside or the surface of the product formation part. The strip electrode(104) is connected to the circuit element. The strip electrode is formed on the product formation part. The strip electrode is trimmed to control the characteristic. The measuring electrodes(105) are connected to the circuit element and the dummy part. The measuring electrodes are formed on the dummy part. The dummy part is removed by trimming the strip electrode to control the characteristic.
