SHOE FOR LIFTING UP I-BEAM WITHOUT DAMAGING PIER AND PREVENTING FALLING DOWN OF BRIDGE, AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A shoe and an installation method of the shoe are provided to lift up an upper structure of a bridge simply without damaging a pier regardless of overhead clearance and the width of a pier, and to prevent a bridge from falling down by horizontal force of earthquake by limiting the movement of a supporting member using a stopper attached to a base plate. CONSTITUTION: In a bridge provided with a shoe placed between a pier(300) and an I-beam(100) to transfer the load of the I-beam(100) to the pier, the installation method of a shoe for lifting up an I-beam and preventing falling down of a bridge comprises the steps of: welding many connecting pieces(12) provided with many holes(12a) vertically to both ends of the I-beam(100); moving a supporting member(22) along the connecting piece(12) fixed to the I-beam upward to secure a space for a lift, setting a hole of a strut(21) attached to the top of a plate member(20) to the hole(12a) of the connecting piece(12), then coupling with a bolt(13) and a nut; installing a lift between the lower part of the supporting member(22) and a head of the pier, applying pressure to the upper part and lifting up the I-beam(100), dismantling the damaged shoe and installing a base plate(30) attached with a stopper(31); installing a new shoe and an elastic pad(201) on the upper part of the base plate(30); removing the pressure of a hydraulic jack, descending the I-beam(100) and setting to the shoe and dismantling a supporting beam and a hydraulic jack; and unfastening the bolt and the nut which fix the connecting piece(12) and the strut(21), moving the supporting member(22) downward along the connecting piece(12), contacting a plate member(20) to an elastic pad fixed with the base plate(30), setting the hole of the strut(21) attached to the top of the plate member(20) to the hole(12a) of the connecting piece(12), then coupling with the bolt(13) and the nut.
