摘要

PURPOSE: A shape of a side wall of a tire is provided to improve traveling stability and vertical or lateral stiffness of the tire by expanding the side wall of the tire outward and minimizing deformation of the shape of the tire. CONSTITUTION: A side wall is entirely formed of S-shape at the side of a tire, and a middle portion(C) of a carcass between a first point(W1) and a second point(W2) is formed by an arc with the radius of curvature(Rc) and a center(01). A rim flange portion(U) extended from the inner second point to the bead base region is formed of an arc(Su) with an outer center(02) of the tire and the radius of curvature(Ru). The arc of the middle portion is protruded outward and the arc of the rim flange portion is recessed inward. Two arcs are connected at the point of inflection, and the arc of the middle portion is larger than the arc of the rim flange portion. The ratio of 1/2 width(A) of the middle portion of the side wall to 1/2 width(B) of the rim flange portion is 1.5 to 1.8.
