TEST AND SIMULATION METHODS USING FOLDING STATE OF ACTUAL AIR BAGS OF AIR BAG FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: Test and simulation Methods of an air bag for a vehicle are provided to exactly test the air bag by using a simulation program on the basis of measurement data obtained by measuring a folding state of the actual air bag. CONSTITUTION: A test method of an air bag for a vehicle includes an actual object measuring step(s1), an actual object determining step(s2), a simulation step(s3), a model determining step(s4), and an actual object analyzing step(s6). The actual object measuring step(s1) measures a folding state of an actual air bag, a module coupling state, a vertical length of the air bag, and a type of the air bag. The actual object determining step(s2) determines whether or not the folding state of the actual air bag is identical to a standard normal folding state. If the folding state of the actual air bag is identical to the standard normal folding state, the actual air bag is unfolded. If not, a simulation step using the air bag is performed.
