摘要

PURPOSE: An energy recovery apparatus of a plasma display panel and a recovery method thereof are provided to limit a current flowing in an inductor according to a period of a sustain waveform. CONSTITUTION: A panel capacitor(Cp) is formed equivalently in the first and the second electrode. A sustain voltage source(Vs) generates a sustain voltage(Vs), and the first switch(Q1) is connected between the sustain voltage source and the first electrode of the panel capacitor. The second switch(Q2) is connected between the first switch and a ground voltage source(GND). The third switch(Q3) is connected the sustain voltage source(+Vs) and the second electrode of the panel capacitor. The fourth switch(Q4) is connected between the third switch and the ground voltage source. The first and the second inductor(L1,L2) are connected to the panel capacitor in parallel. And the fifth and the sixth switch(Q5,Q6) are connected between the first and the second inductor, and are connected to the second inductor in parallel.
