APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING ERRONEOUS DISCHARGE OF A PDP MODULE, ESPECIALLY SUPPLYING SCAN VOLTAGE HAVING PREDETERMINED TIME DELAY THAN ADDRESS VOLTAGE TO THE PDP MODULE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing the erroneous discharge of a plasma display panel(PDP) module is provided to prevent the erroneous discharge during an initial operation without depending on the model although the same control program is applied. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing the erroneous discharge of a plasma display panel(PDP) module includes a power unit(26), an X-board(21), an Y-board(22), a Z-board(23), a video scan board(25), a control board(24) and a timing board(27). The power unit(26) supplies the operational power to each component of the panel. The X board(21) outputs the address voltage to the X electrode of the PDP panel. The Y-board(22) outputs the scan voltage to the Y-electrode of the PDP panel. The Z-board(23) outputs the sustain voltage to the Z-electrode of the PDP panel. The video scan board(25) generates and outputs the time sequence to control the addressing and the scan timing in response to the previously stored control program. The control board(24) controls the power supplying timing of the X board, the Y-board and the Z-board. And, the timing board(27) delays the power supplying timing of the Y-board by a predetermined time in comparison with the power supplying timing of the X board.
