PURPOSE: An RSA encipher device by using a modular exponential index is provided to improve the performance of the RSA encipher device by implementing all of hardware processes to create cipher texts(C) by inputting a plain text(M), thereby easily realizing the encipher work and accomplishing a very rapid encipher time. CONSTITUTION: An RSA encipher device(101) by using a modular exponential index includes a first modular multiplier(121) for inputting the plain text(M), a first mapping signal, a mapping/remapping coefficient(r2(mod N)) and a modular(N) and a second modular multiplier(131) for inputting a number 1, the first mapping signal, the mapping/remapping coefficient(r2(mod N)), the second mapping signal, a public key(e) and the modular(N), wherein the first modular multiplier(121) outputs the first mapping signal by mapping the plain text(M) into a predetermined region to create the cipher text(C) and the second modular multiplier(131) outputs the second mapping signal by mapping the number 1 to the predetermined region, the exponential index signal by performing Montgomery modular multiplication to the first and the second mapping signals and the modular and creates the cipher text(C) by remapping the exponential index signal.
