PURPOSE: A point-to-multipoint transmission method of a multicarrier system for continuous transmission of high-speed multicarrier data signals in a digital subscriber line is provided to realize multipoint transmission and fast initialization. CONSTITUTION: In an activation and acknowledgement process, it is inspected whether a link is set up between an ATU-C(ADSL Terminal Unit-Central office) and an ATU-R(ADSL Terminal Unit-Remote)(82). A bit swapping algorithm is executed while transmitting actual data(96). In the case that the initialization is for a system already installed, the initialization information stored on the memory of the user equipment is downloaded after the transceiver training process, and the initialization information is transmitted and bit swapped(94).
