PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize an injection device to form the ratio of fuel to be injected by continuously opening the injection device without applying an excessive thermal load to a part of the injection device. SOLUTION: A joint injection type fuel accumulator 7 supplies fuel to at least two fuel injection devices 2. The fuel injection devices are successively opened with a mutual time delay to inject the same kind of fuel in mutually different quantities. The injection device for injecting the maximum quantity of fuel in injecting process is arranged so that the distribution of the fuel to be injected is substantially more uniformed toward the circumferential direction of a combustion chamber.
