摘要

PURPOSE: An LCD device for a high-brightness single plate-type liquid crystal projector is provided to improve a contrast ratio of an LCD by controlling an angle of rays incident on an LCD cell from a micro lens, or to increase an amount of the rays while maintaining the same contrast ratio, thereby reducing light loss. CONSTITUTION: The first micro lens(2) manages three LCD cells(1B,1R,1G) designated for B,R,G rays to pass through. The second micro lenses(3B,3R,3G) manage each of the LCD cells(1B,1R,1G). Focal distances of the first micro lens(2) and the second micro lenses(3B,3R,3G) are identically configured. Rays provided from a light source are condensed into the first micro lens(2), and are supplied to the three LCD cells(1B,1R,1G) set to pass through the BRG rays.
