PURPOSE: A method for controlling hand-over of mobile wireless communication reducing control load is provided to reduce transmission control load for transmission between a base station and a switching station, control load for controlling the switching station, and hand-over control delay by directly notifying a wireless channel changing request of a mobile station to a hand-over target base station. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station(1) recognizes that the mobile station(1) is moved to an overlapping area(13) of the current wireless area and a neighbor wireless area from a non-overlapping area(5) of the current wireless area and the neighbor wireless area, and notifies the movement to a network. The network sets up a new communication channel only between a hand-over target base station and a switching station(7) controlling the hand-over target base station(9). If the mobile station(1) located in the overlapping area generates a request for changing the original wireless channel(15) between the base station(3) of the current position and the mobile station(1) into a new wireless channel, the request is directly notified to the hand-over target base station(9) without using a transmission channel through the base station(3) of the current position. If receiving the request from the mobile station(1), the network sets up a new wireless channel and connects the new wireless channel with the new communication channel.
