PURPOSE: Extraction method and an apparatus using a container sealing water soluble beverage or food are provided to enable the mechanical extraction having a simple, economical, and uniform extraction property. CONSTITUTION: The extraction apparatus(10) utilizes a container having a discharge hole on its lower part, the discharge hole is blocked with a film separably attached thereto, and a loop drilled with a holding hole is provided in the film. The extraction apparatus comprises a fastener(60) for tightly gripping the container, a water reservoir(30), a heating device(40) for heating water stored in the water reservoir, a feeder for compressively pumping the heated water and vapor so as to supply them to a desired place, and an opening device for removing the film from the discharge hole of the container.
