FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: procedure is meant to establish size of largest particle in output of ultradispersive fraction of ammonium perchlorate or in its suspension. Ultradispersive fraction of ammonium perchlorate is dissolved in dimethylformamide with proportion Sediment of output is extracted and toluene is added to it. Time of sedimentation of largest ( first ) particle of output through layer of chlorobenzene with height between 50 to 150 mm is measured. Then diameter D in microns is found by formula where l is height of layer of chlorobenzene, cm; t is sedimentation time of particle of output, s. EFFECT: simplification of procedure and decreased time of establishment of particle size. 2 tbl
