Semiconductor thermoelectric devices for the local temperature effect on the human foot

FIELD: medical engineering.;SUBSTANCE: device has two reservoirs containing liquid for carrying out temperature treatment. The reservoirs are tightly sealed and manufactured from thin-walled flexible high heat conduction material. The first reservoir is set for making contact to lower human foot surface and the second one for making contact to upper human foot surface. The reservoirs are brought in heat contact with the first junctions of corresponding thermoelectric batteries, the second junctions being coupled to liquid heat exchange members, respectively. The thermoelectric battery of the second reservoir is connected to upright composed of three sections connected with two hinges between them. One of the sections is telescopic one. The thermoelectric batteries are connected to two-channel programmable electric power supply source allowing operation modes to be alternatingly switched.;EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness and comfortable conditions of procedure application.;1 dwg
