FIELD: medicine, oncology, ecology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for detection of carcinogenicity of chemical compounds based on induction of somatic mutations in fish Danio rerio (H) embryo eye pigment epithelium. Mutations are detected in embryo eye mutant cell clones that are triheterozygous by loci gol, brs and alb induced at cleavage stage by incubation of preliminary dechorionized embryos at temperature 30 C for 60 min in medium containing a substance to be tested and system of external metabolic activation and the following embryos induction in pure medium for 72 h and the following fixation after this period in 4% solution of neutral formaldehyde for 24 h to count number of mosaic sites in eye pigment epithelium. Method provides significant increment the possibility of test systems used for estimation safety of new medicinal preparations and pollutant of environment, their information content and prediction. EFFECT: improved detection method.
