FIELD: medicine, stomatology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with blockade of affected branches of trigeminal nerve (TN) in case of its neuralgia and neuropathy. One should carry out combined blockade of TN affected branches with 20%-GHBA solution with 2%-lidocaine hydrochloride solution in one and the same syringe. Moreover, at neuropathy/neuralgia of TN first branch one should inject 0.5-1.0 ml solution into area of supraorbital nerve exit. At neuralgia/neuropathy of TN second branch 2.0 ml solution should be injected: 1.5 ml into exit area of suborbital nerve out of analogous channel and 0.5 ml into exit area of superior posterior alveolar nerves in mandibular tuber's area, or, in severe cases, according to stem anesthesia of TN second branch it is necessary to inject 2.0 ml. At neuralgia/neuropathy of TN third branch 1.5 ml solution should be injected either into area of mandibular torus or exit area of peripheral branch out of mental opening, and, also, in severe cases, 2.0 ml according to stem anesthesia of TN third branch. Course consists of 7-10 daily blockades. The present method enables to decrease dosage of local anesthetic at no risk for developing respiratory stoppage and shorten terms for staying in hospital.
