FIELD: mechanical engineering, electric vacuum production of cup-shaped parts by stamping. SUBSTANCE: technique establishing stamping capability of molybdenum sheets without surface rupture consists in test of Rockwell hardness of sheet surface with load of 100.0 kgf. Thereafter parts are stamped from such sheet. In this case value of hardness HRC100 is converted to HV50 by relation HV50 = 7,24•HRC100-33,9, hardness of sheet surface HV5 is established, hardness difference by thickness of sheet &Dgr;HV =HV5-HV50 is computed and capability of molybdenum sheet for stamping is calculated theoretically by relation Б(%) = 174,8-3,2875•&Dgr;HV.. EFFECT: technique makes it feasible to establish hardness difference of surface layer and core of molybdenum sheet. 2 dwg
