摘要

FIELD: instrumentation, amelioration, hydrogeology, soil science, construction and other branches of science and technology related to study of properties of porous materials. SUBSTANCE: measurements are carried out by principle of air infiltration through porous material with known porosity and moisture content. Specimen of known length and volume is placed in device securing measurement of pressure difference across its inlet and outlet and air volume flowing through specimen under steady-state condition under pressure close to atmospheric. Specific surface of solid phase, specific surface of condensed phase, coefficient of moisture conductivity, potential of moisture for homogeneous porous materials are computed on basis of known porosity, moisture content, pressure difference between faces of specimen and time of infiltration of measured volume of air through it. Ratio of dynamic viscosities of air and water is utilized as criterion of transfer from coefficient of air conductivity to coefficient of moisture conductivity. Device measuring characteristics of porous materials includes bends of U-shaped manometer, which are connected through branch pipes of same section to prechambers hermetically joined to butts of cassette for specimen of porous material. EFFECT: capability to conduct repeat measurements on same specimen of porous material, simplification of method, expanded range of established characteristics, shortened time of determination of required characteristics. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
