The staircase (1) has double supports with gaps arranged respectively to stair feet (2,3). The free ends of the supports are connected to a bannister (5). The staircase has multiple safety belts (10,11). The bannister and the belts are joined with the double supports. The two parallel connectors (7,8) are composed of double supports (6) with swivelable mountings (12,13). The connectors (7,8) are constructed from flat rolled steel bars. A common foot plate (14) connects the free ends (9) with the bannister and corresponding screws (20) are used to hold them together. The belts are mounted into boreholes (17,18).
