The track module (10), for a magnetically levitating train, has function surfaces (17-19) as mounting surfaces for side guides and sliding and stator packets. The surfaces are bonded to the module, and are produced in steel with an oversize, to be machined to the nominal dimensions (d,h1,h2) of the mountings (14-16). The steel module and mountings are welded together to give a cover plate (11) and vertical supports (12).
