In a method for arranging functional components at a supportstructure of a track of rail-bound vehicles, a first functionalcomponent is furnished with first positioning elements. Projectingarms of the support structure are provided with throughbores. Thefirst positioning elements are inserted into the throughbores suchthat the first positioning elements penetrate the projecting arms. Asecond functional component is placed onto the first positioningelements. The arrangement of functional components at a supportstructure of a track for rail-bound vehicles includes a first functionalcomponent having connected thereto first positioning elements. Thefirst functional component has a functional surface. The firstpositioning elements have abutment surfaces positioned at adefined distance to the functional surface. A second functionalcomponent is placed onto the abutment surfaces for exactlypositioning the second functional component relative to the firstfunctional component. Connecting locations are provided at thetrack for connecting thereto the first functional component byintroducing the first positioning elements.
