Controlling actuator in exhaust gas turbocharger, involves applying control signals with duration and in sequence so that actuator adopts effective position between first and second desired positions
The method involves driving the actuator with two or more control signals (S1,S2), of which a first and second cause the actuator to adopt first and second desired positions respectively and the control signals are applied with a duration and in such a sequence that the actuator adopts an effective position between the first and second desired positions.
