Actuator assembling and adjusting method for exhaust gas turbocharger of internal combustion engine, involves applying force to actuator in relative position by tool, where position is arranged between actuating section and adjusting bar
The method involves determining an optimal position of a coupling element (26) opposite to an adjusting bar (18') independent of a position of a bypass valve and an actuating unit (14'). An actuating section (20') and the bar are adjustably connected by the coupling element, and the actuating unit is moved to a position that corresponds to a closed position of the valve. Force required for the valve in the closed position is applied to an actuator (10') in a preset relative position by a tool, where the relative position is arranged between the actuating section and the bar. An independent claim is also included for an actuator comprising a valve element coupled with an actuating unit by a connecting device.
